“Dialogues on the State of the Field: Ethics in the Zhuangzi”

I'll be speaking at an upcoming conference at the Chinese University of Hong Kong on June 16-17 entitled "Dialogues on the States of the Field: Ethics in the Zhuangzi."

The format of this conference promises to be especially fruitful: junior colleagues at CUHK will present critiques of six prominent interpretations on Zhuangist ethics, and the six authors of these interpretations will be invited to reply.

I've already benefited from reading Lam Hong-ki's critique of my work and expect to learn much more from the other presentations.

My contribution is entitled "How Dao and De Can Shape a Plausible Zhuangist Ethics." The conference proceedings will be published at a later date.
